We're sorry for the lack of posts...our days have been pleasantly filled with caring for Carver and catching up on a little sleep. We absolutely love having him here--he has brought such joy to us! Both of our families have had the chance to meet him, and they are in love with him, too.
We took Carver to see our pediatrician several days ago, and we were all watching Grant talk to him. Carver was looking directly at Grant, and all of the sudden he smiled at him! We were all so surprised! Even the doctor saw it, and we asked her if babies could really smile at only two weeks. Her reply was, "Well, he just did!" He is such a happy baby who only really fusses if he's hungry or needs a diaper change. And talk about an eater! Today he ate six ounces in one of his feedings! We think he's going through a growth spurt as babies often do around two weeks.
We will try to post some more pictures soon--he's growing every day!
